My odyssey in the creative universe commenced in 2008, when I ventured into Multimedia and Animation, choosing the path less traveled over the allure of the booming BPO industry. During my time at Punjab Technical University, not only did I acquire knowledge, but I also found myself in the role of an educator, teaching graphic design and web development for a remarkable three years.
In 2009, my freelancing adventure began, leading me to establish my very own creative studio, Masaledani Advertising. With a dedicated team, we set out to bring countless imaginative projects to life in the realm of creative design.
However, my creative evolution was far from over. In 2011, photography beckoned to me, and I couldn’t resist its siren call. I transformed into a visual storyteller, capturing the essence of life, both animate and inanimate. I lovingly describe myself as a photographer of the living and non-living, for I find inspiration in every corner of existence. It was through photography that I nurtured an enhanced perspective of the world around me, driven by the thrill of freezing life’s most precious moments in time.
One of the pivotal moments in my photography journey was clinching the First Prize in the On the Spot Photography Competition organized by Delhi University. This recognition fueled my passion and propelled me to explore the world through my lens. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing a multitude of celebrities, including luminaries like Ayushman Khurana, Aparshakti Khurana, Priyanka Chopra, Sunny Leone, Dino Morea, Arunoday, Ranbir Kapoor, during movie promotions and interviews.
My prowess extends beyond photography. As a graphic and web designer, my creations have earned accolades and found their place in prestigious online inspiration galleries such as Smashing Magazine, CardNerd, Card Observer, and many more. My designs, a harmonious fusion of innovation and aesthetics, continue to inspire and captivate.
But there’s more to me than just a portfolio of creative endeavors. My journey has taken me to new horizons as I’ve delved into the art of storytelling and poetry. Over the years, I’ve hosted over 500 poetry and storytelling events, sharing the magic of words with eager audiences. I’ve taken the stage myself, performing my own written poetry, prose, and stories, leaving a piece of my heart with every word spoken. I’ve had the privilege of performing at renowned institutions like BIT Mesra, Chameli Devi Group of Institutions, Indore, and YouTube Fanfest, where I enthralled audiences totaling around 10,000 people combined.
Beyond performance, I’ve become an instructor, breaking down language barriers by conducting workshops for those eager to explore the beauty of Urdu. I’ve had the privilege of judging poetry and storytelling competitions at esteemed Indian colleges and universities.
In the world of audio storytelling, I’ve embarked on a journey through the captivating realm of podcasting. My audio storytelling podcast is a treasure trove of narratives that transport listeners to new realms of imagination.
